Press Release – Maa Boli Punjabi Kids Meet

First international Maa Boli Punjabi Kids Meet organised by Punjabits – Learn Punjabi a project of Global Sikh Council, was a great success. Kids ages 4 to 14 years, from across the Globe participated and made it exciting. Participants joined from:

India – Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

Canada – Ontario,

Australia – Perth, Melbourne,

United Kingdom – Greater Manchester, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, Birmingham.

Event was opened by a Poem on Maa Boli Punjabi followed by Introduction of the Project and the Mentors by Gulbarg Singh Basi and Harpreet Kaur. Kids met each other, performed on Maa Boli Punjabi in form of Poems and Acts. There was an Art and Craft activity ‘Sanjh’ by Paramdeep Kaur ji which kids enjoyed a lot. There after there was another round of Performances by kids. Section of Feedback and suggestions was followed by Thanks giving to all the wonderful Kids, their parents and the all Mentors without whom the event couldn’t have been such a success.
