Solutions Suggested by Global Sikhi Scholars for:
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਟ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ (Held on Jan 11/12, 2023)
• Devise a strategy to get rid of the Sanatani practices that have crept into Sikhi. True message of Gurbani and not ritualism must be shared with the Public. Initiate Sikhi awareness campaign for the migrants coming to Punjab.
• Every Sikh parent should start teaching Sikh values in his family, instead of looking for help from outside sources like SGPC/DGPC etc. Every Sikh should become a preacher.
• Hire Sikhi Parcharaks who are teachers and not Pujaris.
• Gurbani as well as worldly education, both are essential. Sikhs should use all possible means to impart both Gurbani as well worldly education to our younger generation.
(Please note: GSC is already working on this solution thru its project PEHEL, Panjab Education, Health, and Empowerment Lehar)
• Sikhs of Punjab need to be taught dignity of labor regardless of the kind. Willing to accept every opportunity available earning livelihood.
• Attract Sikligars, Vanjaras, and other neglected communities believing in Sikh Faith but living in other parts of India to migrate into Punjab. This will uplift their conditions and solve the issue of decreasing percentage of Sikh Population.
• Must involve Sikh youth in the process.
• For the Sikh youth to stay in Punjab, there must be opportunities created in Punjab.
• Sikh diaspora should help creation of a corporate venture in Punjab. This will not only create employment opportunities for Sikhs, but also raise their living standard.
• The weaker sections must be uplifted to afford a reasonable living standard.
• An Education Fund should be created to help needy Sikh children to obtain good education/employment.
• Lay more stress on quality. A quality Sikh can be a source of attraction for many people from other faiths to be attracted towards Sikhi.
• Encourage Sikh parents to have two or more children.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਵੈਬੀਨਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸੁਝਾਅ (11/12 ਜਨਵਰੀ,2023)
- ਸਨਾਤਨੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੌਲ਼ੀ ਹੌਲ਼ੀ ਪੈਰ ਪਸਾਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ।ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਵਾਸੀ ਲੋਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ।।
- ਮਾਪੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ। ਹਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਜੋ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਨਾ ਬਣਨ , ਸਗੋਂ ਖੁਦ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ,ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
- ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।ਸਿੱਖ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਹਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ।
(ਨੋਟ::ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ GSC ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ PEHEL, Punjab Education, Health and Empowerment Lehar ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।) - ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਜਾਨਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ।ਉਹਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਕੇ ਮੋਟੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।
- ਸਿਕਲੀਗਰ, ਵਣਜਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਮੁਦਾਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ , ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਉਹ ਸਿਖਿਜ਼ਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਖੋ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ।ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਟਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾਜਨਕ ਹਾਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
- ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਾਧਨ ਮੁਹਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
- ਸਿੱਖ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਪੱਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੇਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਲੱਭਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
- ਕੁਆਲਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਉਪਰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਚੰਗੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਦੀ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਵਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਸਿੱਖ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
GSC ਇਹਨਾਂ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਸੁਝਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੱਕੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਜਰੂਰ ਬਣੋ।
