ਗਲੋਬਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਵਲੋਂ 17 / 18 ਮਾਰਚ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਵੈਬੀਨਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕਾਲਰਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਸੁਝਾਏ ਗਏ ਹੱਲ
ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਇਦੇ :
1) ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ 365.24219 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਹੈ ।
2) ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ 99.99% ਮੁਸ਼ਿਕਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਹੱਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤਾਰੀਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਪੇਸ਼ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।
3)ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਗਰੈਗੋਰੀਅਨ ਕਲੈਂਡਰ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਲ ਚੱਕਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਇੰਟਫਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕਾਰ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤਾਰੀਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਆਦਿ ਲਈ ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਰਤ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ
4. ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਰਾਂਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਦਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਬਲਕਿ ਇਹ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਰਾਂਦ ਸਿਰਫ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਰੀਕ ਤੋ ਵੱਧ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।
5) ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੇ ਰੁੱਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਲ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਵੀ ਹੈ ।
6) ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਇੰਨ ਬਿੰਨ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ ।
7) ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਵੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਬਦਲੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ।
8) ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਇੱਕੋ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਬਦਲਣਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ।
9) ਅਸੀਂ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਨਾਕੇ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਇੰਟਫਿਕ ਹੈ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ।
10) ਸਿਖਿਜ਼ਮ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਵੇਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਧਰਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਹਨ :
1) ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਇਕੱਠ ਹੋਵੇ , ਓਹਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਨਾ ਖੁੰਝਾਓ।
2)ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਹ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਜਾਣਗੇ। 3) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ,ਭੱਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਹੈ, ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਹਨਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
4) ਹਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਲ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰੇ 5.)ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮੂਲ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਇਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਯਕੀਨਨ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਣੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਝੁੱਕ ਜਾਏਗੀ।

Calendar* (Held on March 17/18, 2023)
Session 1 & 2
Calendar Benefits:
- By accepting a year consisting of 365.24219 days as in Mool Nanakshahi Calendar, we are accepting the will of God (Hukam) as adivised in the message of Guru Granth Sahib.
- By accepting the Hukam, 99.99% problems relating to the important historic dates as per current calendar used by SGPC are solved utomatically.
- When we are using Gregorian calendar based on earth rotation for period calculated as per current scientific knowledge for our all official and social needs, like birthdays, anniversaries etc., then why we are using Calendar based on different year length for our historical dated like Gurpurabs.
- Sangrad concept is nowhere mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib rather it is a borrowed concept from Hindu religion. For Sikhs it is just the first day of the month and it should be referred as such.
- Only Nanakshahi Calendar is fully synchronized with the periods of six distinct seasons of the year stated in Guru Granth Sahib. It is in tune with science as well as Guru Granth Sahib.
- Names of the months in Mool Nanakshahi Calendar are same as stated in Guru Granth Sahib.
- Lengths of months in Mool Nanakshahi Calendar are fixed and do not change every year.
- Dates for all important historic events are fixed i.e., they will come on the same day each year unlike current calendar being used by SGPC.
- By adopting Mool Nanakshahi Calendar, we are updating ourselves with the current situation, latest scientific knowhow available.
- Sikhism being a distinct and independent religion deserves its own calendar.
Steps Suggested for the Implementation:
- Never miss a chance to convey your message, where people have gathered for any reason.
- Youths should be associated with the campaign to give recognition to Mool Nanakshahi Calendar. They will easily accept because this calendar is most scientific.
- Historic dates related to all the Bhagats whose Bani have been included in Guru Granth Sahib should be given due importance in Mool Nanakshahi Calendar.
- Every sikh should try to bring round his local Gurdwara management to adopt Mool Nanakshahi Calendar.
- If we continue our efforts to spread awareness in Sikh masses about the benefits of adopting Mool Nanakshahi Calendar, SGPC will be ultimately compelled to bow before the will of Sikh Sangat.
